According to Lamborghini boss boss, Maurizio Reggiani, the Urus will be the fastest and most powerful SUV ever when it launches sometime in the year 2018.
As many of you might know, the current fastest SUV’s are the Bentley Bentayga and the Porsche Cayenne Turbo S with a 0-100 kmph timing of 4.1 seconds. However, when the Urus goes public in 2018, it will hold the crown of being the fastest SUV ever with the 0-100 kmph mark dismissed in under 4 seconds.
Initially, the model will be V8-only, but Reggiani suggested a plug-in hybrid version featuring a V6 engine and an electric motor could join the range later during the model’s life cycle.
